Description

User-friendly description of the group.

Factory

This check box defines if the record is supplied as a factory record. When this happens, a factory code is also displayed and can be entered if you are a factory provider. This features allows to prevent some modifications on records supplied by defaut by Sage or by a vertical solution provider. More information about this feature is given in the following document.

Role

The role a group is associated with. This field is not mandatory.

Users

List of users belonging to this group. Several users can be member of a group (the selection window allows multiple selection). A user can also be member of several groups.

Endpoints

List of endpoints a group can use. Several endpoints can be accessed by a group (the selection window allows multiple selection). An endpoint can also be accessed by several groups.

Tags

List of tags, separated by commas, a group carries. Tags are especially used to define on which servers a user belonging to the group can connect when using an endpoint in a solution.

Default X3 endpoint

This field is not mandatory. It defines the endpoint used by default when a lookup on a table requires an endpoint that is given. For example, if you create a menu item on an X3 function without entering an endpoint, the selection lookup will use this endpoint.

EXPLORER

This widget presents the links between a user and different entities the group is linked to. The group is represented as a central circle with its name.
