A Menu module is an entity in a menu page linked to a set of Administration reference Menu sub-module linked to a set of menu items. This enables organizing the links of menu pages.
A menu module can be added in a menu page definition by selecting it in the Edit page mode. You can add a new module using the + New
link, add sub-menu links, and edit the menu characteristics.
The information to enter is the following:
Identifies the menu module.
Defines the title that is displayed on the navigation page. The title is translatable and the different translations can be entered with the corresponding widget.
Describes the menu module.
Defines the list of sub-modules linked to the module. Adding a sub-module to a module can be done by adding an element on the list.
Defines the application type associated with the menu items accessible from this module.
If this list is filled, it provides a complete list of the Endpoints in which the menu module is available. The menu module is not displayed if the selected endpoint is not associated with the menu module.
This list provides all the navigation pages where the menu module is present. Adding a menu module to a navigation page can be done by adding a navigation page on the list.
This check box defines if the record is supplied as a factory record. When this happens, a factory code is also displayed and can be entered if you are a factory provider. This features allows to prevent some modifications on records supplied by defaut by Sage or by a vertical solution provider. More information about this feature is given in the following document.
