Office client Outlook

The integration of Microsoft Outlook is implemented as an add-in. This is completely different from the integration in V6. Once the plug-in is installed, Microsoft Outlook behaves as a client and accesses data exactly as the web client and with the same level of security.

When installed, a new tab displays on ribbon in Outlook:

The Outlook add-in can synchronize contacts, appointments, and calls from the Sage X3 CRM module.

You can setup synchronization in the GESSYP function, available with the following path:

Setup / Customer Relation / Outlook synchronization / Synchronization setup

When this is complete, click the synchronization command to synchronized data.
