This function is used to define the pages that can be used by the user portal. A page is identified by a code, and is composed of one or more views presenting the Web pages defined by their URL, or the data coming from the software, and presented by a visual component (it is the association of these two elements that define a portal view).

During the connection to the software, the welcome page where the code is defined by the PTLPAGE parameter, is automatically executed (this parameter can be defined by the user).

Warning, the user portal access is a functionality whose usage depends on the characteristics of the user licence. If the licence does not permit the use of this functionality, then the integrator who installed the software should be consulted.

Tab General

Presentation

This tab contains a first choice of the format. It is possible to choose to enter only a single item of information in a portal, or two items of information in two frames, splitting the page vertically or horizontally, even three (two layouts possible) or four splits. The display in the Photo frame shows the layout chosen.

From the moment that this layout is chosen, a line per frame is entered in the lower grid. This line contains one of the two following elements :

the portal view code (its title is displayed, the Web address cannot be entered)

a Web address (if the portal view code is empty). This Web address can be any URL or a UNC path accessible via the Web or on an internal server. But this can also be linked to a directory on the client workstation, when in client-server mode (the directory list can be displayed, and it is possible to double-click on the tables it contains). For example, it is possible to enter values such as "http://www.adonix.com", or "C:\temp\my_file.htm", or even "\\my_server\my_perso_page.pdf"
