Development > Utilities > Miscellaneous > Link resynchronization

It is possible to define in each object the presence of a left list named Link explorer that is used to define the links to other records resulting from other objects. These links can be established manually, using the File / Links function, but it is also possible in an automatic fashion (this is done in a second tab in the parameterisation for object personalisation).

Once the parameterisation is set, the automatic links are updated at each record creation or modification, however not for records previously created.

This function is used to start the update of the automatic links. It can be launched for a single object or all objects together.

Screen management

A single dialogue screen appears on launching this function.

Entry screen

Presentation

When running the function, it is possible to either tick the All objects box or to choose a single object type. The link group for which the recovery is to be made is also entered (the links created in this way will be for the group in question). By default, it is the user's link group that is proposed (GLIAISON variable).

Once this entry is made, the operation is started, and once it is finished the user is returned to the start menu. No log file is generated by this operation.
