General parameters > Chapter Supervisor > Parameter FMTDAT (Standard date format) 

This variable is used to define a date format (by specifying the order of the day, month, year fields as well as the number of characters used in each). This format is used when a client workstation is connected (the regional parameters of Windows are used for this), but it is only used when a date must be written in a log file on the server during the execution of a batch task.

Level of localization / Global variable

The parameter is defined at the level Folder.Belongs to Module SUP (Supervisor) and to Group FMT (Formats),in which the following parameters can also be found :

A variable named GFMDAT contains the format in the form of a character string (the FMTDAT parameter is of type local menu, because filtering is carried out on the possible choices for its value).

Functions concerned
