This parameter is used to define the behavior of Excel export when csv files contains chains whose value is composed only of numerical characters. This Excel export is available in the query tool, the inquiries and in the grids...
For example: if a product code is purely numerical, the code 004526 is also 004526 in the csv file. Excel sees it as a number and transforms this code in 4526 (if there are too many characters, Excel can transform it into a notation of type 123 e+8...).
To avoid this Excel behavior, it is possible, in the csv export, to transcode the character chains which are purely numerical into a formula (syntax="123...").
It is the default behavior of every csv export. The default value of this parameter, specified at the folder level, is equal to Yes.
Since this behavior can be a problem if the export is used by another program, it is possible to disable this transcoding by setting the parameter value to No.
The parameter is defined at the level User.Belongs to Module SUP (Supervisor) and to Group FMT (Formats),in which the following parameters can also be found :
The global variable GNUMCSV is associated to it.
