Use this template to extract employee tax details. You can use it to import employee contract data from any third party payroll product into Sage X3 and to export from Sage X3.
Imported data is converted into the right format to populate tax and Employment Tax Incentive (ETI) data fields on the Payrolltab of the employee contract of employment record (function Employment contracts (GESCTR)). The ETI data is used when the employee payslip calculations are run to reduce the amount of Pay-As-You-Earn (PAYE tax) you pay in respect of each qualifying employee. The employee’s pay remains unaffected by this additional data.
 Multiple database tables are associated with each individual Sage X3 employee record and their associated contract of employment record. You must, therefore, run each of the following import/export templates in addition to this template to ensure the respective employee database tables are populated:

Prerequisites

The following must exist in data to be imported:

  • Employee ID
  • Employment contract ID

Mandatory fields in the template

The mandatory fields are as follows:

  • Employee ID
  • Contract chrono (Employment contract ID)

Error messages

The only error messages are the generic ones.
