Consumables
A consumable is a specific type of item identified via a unique code by site. The consumable is not managed on location. Therefore it cannot be localized in the warehouse.
A "consumable" is referred to for any item used during the various operations that take place inside the warehouse, such as the receipt of goods or the preparation of orders.
Example 1: use of returnable pallets of the CHEP type for the receipt of goods from supplier X for product Y.
Example 2: affixing of a plastic sticker on each of the pallets of an order when preparing it.
The management of a negative stock is authorized for consumable type items.

Screen management
The creation of a consumable item requires the entry of various information of a general nature along with sizing characteristics.
The quantity available in stock for the current site is displayed. In case of a negative stock, the informations appears in bold on a red background.
It is possible to generate two reports:(file/print/record)
- Labels for the consumables (ETIQCSB)
- Screen print-out (PRTSCR)
It is also possible to export or print the list of consumables (file/print/list)
Entry screen
Presentation
The upper part of the screen is used to enter the identification data of the consumable item.
The middle part of the screen lists the characteristics of the consumable item.
Finally the lower part of the screen displays the available stock of the consumable for the current site.

This menu is used to access the inquiry screen of the validated movements for the selected consumable on the current site.
Error messages
In addition to the generic error messages, the following messages can appear during the entry :
"Consumable" field error. Mandatory field
The consumable code is a mandatory entry.
Error "Title" field. Mandatory field
The consumable title is a mandatory entry.
Error "Height" field. Mandatory field
The vertical dimension of the consumable must necessarily be entered.
Error "Width" field. Mandatory field
The width of the consumable must necessarily be entered.
Error "Depth" field. Mandatory field
The depth of the consumable must necessarily be entered.
Error "Weight" field. Mandatory field
The weight of the consumable is a mandatory entry.
