Receipts > Carrier appointment > Dock Planning

Based on the notion of "Dock assignment", this function is used to view the planning of each dock. A dock can be occupied by a carrier appointment of the receipt, shipment, or "other" type.

The same feature is available in the management of rounds when assigning a dock to a shipment round.

This informational feature is used to check if a dock is available when scheduling a carrier appointment for the provisional receipts of expected inputs.

Associated with a workflow, this function is used to communicate with carriers and confirm call appointments.

This functionality is available from G2 version.

Screen management

The planning of each dock at the current date is displayed in a Gantt diagram format (by default but can be modified).

On the Gantt diagram, carrier appointments of the "receipt" type are displayed in red, "Shipment" appointments in yellow and "Other" appointments or rounds in blue.

By doing a mouse-over on an "event", you can view information on this event: type, start and end dates and duration.
