Presentation
From the output movement of the items corresponding to the five criteria pf the seasonality, the system :
automatically defined the important periods of the seasonality
calculate for each period its weighing coefficient
calculate the mean number of CU put out per day of all the items corresponding to the seasonality
The process can be launched for a seasonality or for all the seasonality of the current site and depositor
The parameter ‘Polishing index’ allows to reduce the strong variations of the daily output quantities by calculating the mean with that put out on the previous days.
The two parameters ‘polishing index’ and ‘Max nbr of seasons’ help to minimize the number of period in a seasonality calculated by the system.
After the launching of the process, the system displays a trace with the number of significative seasonal variations created for each seasonality.

Fields
The following fields are present on this tab :
Block number 1
Code of the logistics site.
Code representing the depositor. In logistics terms, the concept of depositor makes it possible to process separate flows or traffics within the same site. It encompasses the concept of order-issuing customer for the service providers. After the site, the depositor is the second access key to the Product, Input and Delivery Order files. For the location, the depositor code is entered if the location is allocated to the depositor or to the product, and if the location is single-depositor or single-product or if it is not empty.
Number making it possible to use the rules defined in this screen by order of priority.
Block number 2
Index used to attenuate the strong fluctuations in the quantities issued daily by calculating the average quantity output for a given D Day with the quantity output for the previous days and the following days. If the index is N, the average of the outputs is calculated from the date D - N to D + N, i.e. over 2N + 1 days.
Maximum number of seasons that will be calculated by the system.

This function can be run in batch mode. The standard task SESUPD is provided for that purpose.
In addition to the generic error messages, the following messages can appear during the entry :
Zone ‘site’, unknown data
The value keyed in does not exist in the sites table.
Zone ‘depositor’, unknown data
The value keyed in does not exist in the depositors table
Zone ‘sequence’, unknown data
The value keyed in does not exist in the seasonality table
Zone ‘Max nbr of seasons’, Incorrect value (1..12)
The value keyed in should be contained between 1 and 12..
