Stock > Assembly > Waves > Launch

From this screen, it is possible to:

  • Address on output one or several assembling waves, in other words, ask the system to determine the stock objects to be issued from stock, create the transfer orders, along with the replenishment orders for the assembling preparation ("merging of flows" type).
  • Simulate one or several wave launches in order to detect the number of TOs and the DO line shortages.

Note: there is no preventive replenishment management in assembling waves.

Screen management

The screen is comprised of a simple grid displaying the assembling waves ("merging of flows" type) to be launched for preparation (wave with status "1-Pending launch").

Entry screen

Presentation

For each wave to be launched on preparation, the wave type, the number of AOs, the number of AO lines, the weight, volume and assembling location of the wave are displayed.

One or several waves can be selected with the mouse or via right-click of the mouse and by means of the options "Check all" or "Uncheck all".

The checkbox "Simulation" is used to switch from a wave launch mode (by default) to the simulation mode where all data are deleted further to the processing.

Upon launching of the assembling wave (("merging of flows" type), the transfer movements to the wave assembling location are generated.

Prints are only generated in the case of the processing (and not of the simulation): the transfer orders and the transfer labels are printed based on the set-up of the stock configuration (Assembling tab).

Fields

The following fields are present on this tab :

Grid

  • Select (field SEL)

No help linked to this field.

  • Log (field TRC)

  • Disassembly (field WAVTYP)

  • Nb AO (field BMHNBR)

  • No. of lines (field BMLNBR)

  • field WEI

  • field VOL

  • Mission to block (field MSNLOK)

When launching an assembly wave, this parameter is used to force the creation of associated missions with status '6-blocked', thus ignoring the mission setup at site level.

SEEINFO This parameter only applies to missions having an assembly transfer type (TRFBOM). All the other mission types (replenishment) will apply the setup of the missions.

  • Priority (field MSNPIO)

This parameter is used, when launching a wave, to create the associated missions with the priority defined for the wave instead of the priority defined on the mission types (see mission parameters).

SEEINFO This parameter only applies to missions having an assembly transfer type (TRFBOM). All the other mission types (replenishment) will apply the setup of the missions.

Block number 2

  • Simulation (field SIM)

Used to move from the actual mode (by default) to the simulation mode, where all the data are deleted further to the processing.

  • Detailed log file (field TRA)

Used to display the log (progress) of the program at the end of the processing.

Specific Buttons

The "log" button is used to view the progress of the processing. The log will be further detailed if the "Detailed log" box is checked.

Error messages

In addition to the generic error messages, the following messages can appear during the entry :

CU qty to be validated > CU total - pending input movements

An input movement is used in the transfer movement to be validated.
