This can be departure, arrival or transit locations.
You can customize each lead time depending on the transport mode and, if you wish to, depending on the carrier.
This setup is used at the logistics chain level and more particularly at the Transports and Shipments management level in order to assess the planned arrival date of the goods.
This setup supposes that you first define the places (transit area, departure and arrival places) used when carrying the goods.
Presentation
In order to create a lead time, enter the departure and arrival places as well as the duration in calendar days.
You can also specify a carrier and transport mode.
Reminder: for the transport lead time between arrival place and receipt site to be considered in the calculation of the planned receipt date of order lines, the lead time needs to be defined with a Not defined transport mode and without carrier.
Once a lead time has been created, only the duration in number of days can be modified.
When a lead time is used for a transport, you cannot delete it.
