Sales > Inquiries > Deliveries > Routes

This inquiry function is a tool that helps the user to make decisions: it is used to organize and visualize the delivery routes.

It can be accessed:

  • Either from the general menu: You can then select the deliveries according to various criteria: route code, shipment site, shipment date, delivery date and/or carrier code.
  • Either directly from the Delivery function, in that case all the deliveries that match the concerned criteria are automatically selected.

Some information that is required to organize the routes is then displayed: the weight, the volume, the total number of packages to deliver.

To have more details about the route, you can also display the itinerary of the route directly in Google Maps, estimate the distances and visualize the various delivery locations on a map.

Screen management

This screen is divided in two parts:

  • the header is used for the selection of the deliveries to deliver in a route,

  • the "Pending" tab displays in a grid all the deliveries selected as well as the total weight and volume for the lines taken into account in the route.

Selection

Help for both the route inquiry for Orders and for Deliveries.

  • When the function is called from an order or a delivery, the site and the company are already specified.

Specific Buttons

This button is used to access the previously defined criteria, as well as a field in which a selection formula can be entered.

You can also:

  • indicate a screen code that defines the setup of the grid columns,
  • change the criteria for the classification of the deliveries. By default, these are sorted by delivery number, but they can also be sorted by delivery date.

The selection criteria can be saved under a memo code so that they can be retrieved later.
The STD memo code is specific since it is the one that is systematically applied upon entering the inquiry.

This button can be used to mass select all the delivery lines that match the selection criteria.
For a line-by-line selection, make a double click on the line in the "Pick" column.

By default, all the delivery lines matching the selection criteria are displayed. This button can be used to perform a mass deselection of the lines.
For a line-by-line deselection, make a double click on the line in the "Pick" column.
