The WO status changes automatically from "in process" to "completed".
It is possible to continue to perform production tracking on a completed work order that is not yet closed.
The closure function sets the WO status from "firm" to "closed". It also authorizes the launching of the cost price.
It is normally impossible to save consumption or work movements when the status is "closed".
However, the WO reactivation utility can be used exceptionally to continue tracking a WO provided that no price cost has been calculated for this work order.

It is not possible to modify any information when the work order has been selected.

| This field displays the sequence number of this operation. The operations in a routing used for manufacturing a product are assigned operation numbers. Each operation number corresponds to a task carried out on a given resource, with given times. |
| This non-modifiable field displays the service status: Pending, In progress, Ordered, Received or Closed. |
| The planned work center is attached to a work center group. It corresponds to a production resource on which a routing operation is to be carried out. |
| The work center group is a physical or fictitious entity grouping several work centers of machine, labor or sub-contracting type. |
| This field identifies the type of operation that is performed at this work center. This might be a machine, a labor resource, or a subcontracted operation. Work centers of type Subcontracting are managed externally by subcontract suppliers. |

In addition to the generic error messages, the following messages can appear during the entry :
"Record does not exist"
This error message appears after the entry of a WO number that does not exist.
The WO tracking must at least be in progess
This error message appears after the entry of a WO number if no production tracking has taken place.
Complete the work order?
After clicking on the [Complete] button, the user is invited to confirm their intentions to complete this work order.
Close the work order?
After clicking on the [Close] button, the user is invited to confirm their intentions to complete this work order.
The quantity achieved is less that the planned quantity
On completion or closing, this message is used to inform the user that the quantity produced is less than the planned quantity.
A sub-contracting operation is on order or in process. It cannot be completed
This information message appears after the user has clicked on the [Complete] button if at least one sub-contractor operation exist for this WO and that it is on order or in the process of being received. This operation will not be automatically completed (it's the receipt of all the ordered quantity that will complete this operation). Because of this, the WO cannot be totally completed.
A sub-contracting operation is on order or in process. Closing impossible !
This error message appears after the user has clicked on the [Complete] button if at least one sub-contractor operation exist for this WO and that it is on order or in the process of being received. This operation could not be automatically completed, the WO cannot be closed.
Tracking of the materials managed by backflush consumption?
At the time of completion or closing of a WO, if the production of the released product has started (or ended), it is possible to automatically backflush the consumption of the materials with the stock withdrawal code "backflush consumption" in proportion to the quantity produced of the released product.
Automatic tracking of operations?
During the completion or closing of a WO, if the production of the released product has started (or finished), it is possible to automatically consume the operations in proportion to the quantity produced of the released product.
At least one operation has not been carried out
Information message sent out on completion or closing if at least one operation has a tracking status with the value "pending". This message can block the closing according to the general setup CLTCLE.
At least one released product has not been produced
Information message sent out on completion or closing if at least one released product has a tracking status with the value "pending".
At least one component has not been consumed
Information message sent out on completion or closing if at least one component has a tracking status with the value "pending". This message can block the closing according to the general setup CLTCLE.
"Problem when recovering the sequence number counter"
This error message appears on completion or closing if there is an automatic tracking of components and there has been an unsuccessful attempt to recover a sequence number to create the production tracking.
'No sequence number has been assigned to this document'
This error message appears on completion or closing if there is an automatic tracking of components but it is impossible to create the production tracking because no sequence number counter has been associated with the tracking.
Quantity generating a negative stock
This error message appears on completion or closing if an attempt is made to automatically book a component with a negative stock and the quantity to be consumed exceeds the available stock.
Problem during the update of the stocks
This error message appears on completion or closing if an attempt is made to automatically book the components and the stock update transaction has not worked correctly.
