Function

This function declares the XTEND web pages.

This function makes a link between a code or an alias used by XTEND and the HTML file associated with it.

The root directory of the HTML files on the X3 server is:
/X3SOLUTION/dossiers/X3_PUB/X3FOLDER/X_TEND/X_HTML/SITEXTEND/CODELANGUE/

  • CODELANGUE: User language code
  • SITEXTEND: Site code
  • X3FOLDER: X3 file code
  • X3SOLUTION: X3 solution code

Fields

The following fields are present on this tab :

Page web token code.

  • Site (field FCYLIB)

Current Web site

  • Description (field INTIT)

Use this field to assign a description to each record.

By default, the following reports are associated with this function :

 PRTSCR : Screen print

This can be changed using a different setup.

Specific Buttons

This button is used to update the XTEND dictionary in XML format.

The X3WEB server takes into account only the dictionary with this format.

There is one XML file per dictionary.

For instance, the ACT.xml file corresponds to all the web actions for the current web site.

This button is used to copy a web page token.

Tools / Validation with checking

Validation with a data coherency control on the XTEND dictionary. 

Tools / Web page view

Presentation

This tool displays the page via the default Web browser.

Fields

The following fields are present on this tab :

Block number 1

  • Access path (field CHEMIN)

This fields contains the URL that will be displayed by the web browser when the user clicks the icon and displayed by the field AC1.

  • field CLIC

The default browser will open by clicking, displaying the URL from the field CHEMIN.

Block number 2

  • field AC1

Visualize the web page.

The only error messages are the generic ones.
