A pivot corresponds to the description of an interface file (import or export according to the case) between Sage X3 product and another one. It gives the order of the zones, their sizes and describes their loading (directly via table fields or via functions).

 These pivots will have to be referenced in the setup of the interface processing in order to be used during these processes. A specific number of pivots previously parameterized for each product is delivered as standard. This function allows you to manage them or create new ones.

Fields

The following fields are present on this tab :

Block number 1

  • Identifier (field ID)

 

  • field INTIT

 

Block number 2

  • Type (field TYP)

The pivot type is used to determine:

  • the list of available tables,
  • if it is a case of import or export.
  • Standard (field STDFLG)

The 'Standard' flag specifies that it is a pivot delivered with the software.
It is impossible to modify it.

  • Export (field EXPORT)

The 'Export' flag specifies that the pivot is an export pivot: it will be used to create a CSV file. It is impossible to modify it.

File

  • field HEATYP

Select the pivot header type:

  • No header,
  • Standard header,
  • Specific header: enter the message to display,
  • Header with titles: assign or correct the titles, if necessary.
  • Specific header description (field HEAMES)

If the user wants to display a specific header, he/she has to enter the message.

  • Message if no recording (field NORECFLG)

In the case of an export, if any recording is extracted, this box is checked and a message can be saved in the file.

  • field NORECMES

Message displayed in case any recording has been extracted.

Grid

 

  • Field code (field CODZONE)

 

  • Description (field DES)

 

  • Length (field LNG)

 

  • Non-managed field (field WRKZON)

The "non-managed field" indicator allows you to specify that the area:

  • Is not taken into account during the export,
  • is not used to assign the area of the table during the import.
  • Formula (field FRM)

The formula field can only be accessed on an export pivot.
It is then possible to access the formula assistant and check it.

Specific Buttons
