This parameter identifies a Sage X3 user as approved for involvement in your Change control management (CCM) process as a 'change manager'.

'Yes' - This user is approved as a subject matter expert and has approval as a CCM change manager. With this authorization this user has the flexibility to manage change requests in full and effect the disciplines associated with your organization's 'change management' process. For example, they can assign 'approver's' to review the business case for the requirements. They can also reassign a change request to a different change manager where a specific subject matter expert has been identified by the change control team.

'No' - This user is not authorized for involvement in your CCM process as a 'change manager'. They cannot be assigned to manage the processing of the business case for any change requests.

A Sage X3 user can only be deactivated as a CCM change manger (CCMCHGMAN='No') if all change requests to which they have been assigned are closed.
