Version 6 legacy password cancellation

This function allows you to cancel the V6 legacy password associated with a given user. Only the super-user of the folder is authorized to perform this action by using the X3 script launcher function (EXETRT) and entering the script name ANUPAS.

V6 passwords have been replaced by V7 authentication. However, for some V6 legacy functions, using the passwords associated with the X3 users remains necessary. This is notably the case for:

• Accessing the table maintenance when the parameter ASIGMNT is set to True.
• Accessing the ERP through the legacy web services server.
• Accessing through the ADC/telnet terminals.

Parameters to be entered

The user code for which the password must be cancelled is entered.

The function behaves as follows:

• If the parameter PASSWD is set to Yes, the password is mandatory. A temporary password is assigned and displayed. The corresponding user will need to change the password by using the corresponding function.
