Date Change
This function is used to change the current date proposed as the default value in the entries (it corresponds to the variable datesyst, which can be used as default value in the entry transactions).
This date is entered at the time of the connection (by default it is today's date). Once entered, it remains valid through out the session, except if modified by using this function.

Fields
The following fields are present on this tab :
| The date entered here corresponds to the current logical date used in the software (variable datesyst for the engine). This date is used to logically date the information entered (to allow for example the first day of a period to terminate the entry of movements in the previous period). The system date used to time stamp the information in the database (notably the value of the fields CREDAT or UPDDAT) is not assigned by this value. |

Error messages
In addition to the generic error messages, the following messages can appear during the entry :
Date change not authorized
This message is displayed if the parameter autorizing the changing of the date is not equal to Yes for the user.
Date outside the defined periods
This message is displayed if the date entered falls outside the authorized ranges, defined by the user's default start date and default end date parameters.
