Use this function to reference the employees who are active internal trainers. The "Internal trainers" table is populated from internal trainers entered in the trainings and the sessions. Use this function to define, for each trainer, what the domains and themes of intervention are and their level of expertise.

Presentation

The deletion of an internal trainer is possible only if they are not referenced in a session or a training.

When an employee is deleted from the Employees function, they are also deleted from the "Internal trainers" table, provided that they are not referenced as internal trainer in a training or a session.

Similarly, when the trainer leaves the company, they automatically become inactive in the list of trainers.

Fields

The following fields are present on this tab :

Employee ID

  • Employee ID (field REFNUM)

This field indicates the Employee ID of the trainer. It is possible to select the trainer among:

  • The list of trainers available in the "Selection" action menu,
  • The list of employees available in the "Employee selection" action menu.

  • Contract (field CTRNUM)

This field displays the trainer's contract. If the employee is flagged as multi-contract, it is possible to select the contract via the "Selection" action menu.
An employee without a contract in progress and inactive cannot be a trainer.

The site and the company of the contract are recalled in the header.

 

Identity

  • Title (field CIV)

Identity of the trainer: Title, Known as, Name, First name.

  • Known as (field PSD)

 

  • Name (field NAM)

 

  • First name (field SRN)

 

  • Active (field ENAFLG)

Use this checkbox to specify whether the trainer is active or inactive.

  • If the employee is inactive or has no contract in progress, the checkbox is grayed out: an employee who is inactive and has no contract in progress cannot be a trainer.
  • If the trainer becomes inactive and appears in a training or a session, a warning message is displayed. The internal trainer becomes inactive if an employee has no contract in progress and is an internal trainer.

Comments

  • Comments (field TEX)

This field is used to enter a general comment.

Table Specialities

It is possible to enter either the domain, the theme, or both. At least one of the two fields must be entered if a a level of expertise must be linked.

 

This field is used to enter the level scale code.

  • Level (field LEV)

This field is used to enter the trainer's level on the level scale. The level is mandatory if the level scale is entered.

SEEINFOThe level title of the current line is displayed below the "Specialities" table.It corresponds to the "Definition of scale level" field.

  • Title (field LEVDES)

The definition of scale level is displayed. The content depends on the selected line for the speciality.

Reports

By default, the following reports are associated to the function :

 FICTRN : Internal trainer file

 LISTTRN : Internal trainers list

This can be changed by a different setup.

Error messages

In addition to the generic error messages, the following messages can appear during the entry :

This internal trainer is informed through training or a session

This warning message is displayed when a trainer becomes inactive ( 'Active' box checked) and they appear in a training or a session.

This employee is also an internal trainer and is informed through training or a session

This warning message is displayed when a internal trainer appears in a training or a session. When an employee becomes inactive, if they are internal trainers, they also become inactive.

This employee is also an internal trainer: do you wish to activate the internal trainer?

This question is asked to the user when an employee becomes active and they are internal trainers. If the answer is 'Yes', the contracts of this trainer are reactivated.
