Global Selection
This parameter is used, if it is set to Yes, to create the memo files for "global" selection. Remember that these memos, accessible to all via the selection menu, are used to create the selection filters in object management.
If this parameter is set to No, only the personal memos (i.e. not global) can be created, but nothing stops the user from making use of the global memos created by others.
Level of localization / Global variable
The parameter is defined at the level User.Belongs to Module SUP (Supervisor) and to Group SEL (Selection Listing),in which the following parameters can also be found :
- CHDERLUS (Load last read)
- GRPLIAISON (Liaison group)
- LFTBOX (Number of quickselect elements)
- LFTBOXTUN (Left list fill on tunnel)
- LIAISAUTO (Auto links)
- NBDERLUS (Last read lines)
- NBRCHOOSE (Default elements of selection)
- SELRAPCAS (Case sensitive in rapid search)
No global variable is associated to it.
