This function is used to define all the possible answers to a question.

The answer tables can be used in the quality records and associated questions.

    Screen management

    An answer table contains a code using three characters and a label. A grid is then used to describe all the values possible in this table.

    Fields

    The following fields are present on this tab :

    Block number 1

    • Response table (field TCT)

    If the control type is "List of values", a control table must be provided to specify the possible answers to the question.

    • Description (field TCTDESAXX)

     

    • Type (field TCTTYP)

    The control table can be of numerical or alphanumerical type.

    Grid

    • field TCTLIN

     

    • Code (field COD)

     Table code on 20 characters, numeric or alphanumeric according to the table type. In this latter case, the format is not controlled on the entry. Also, all non numeric characters are not taken into account. In addition, only the decimal point (".") serves as a separator : the comma is not taken into account.

    • Code description (field TCTCODAXX)

    Reports

    By default, the following reports are associated with this function :

     PRTSCR : Screen print

    This can be changed using a different setup.

    Specific Buttons

    This is used to sort the answer codes entered in ascending order.

    This is used to copy an answer table within a single folder or to another folder.

    Error messages

    The only error messages are the generic ones.
