Stock > Stock counts > Generation of counts

A Count can be generated using preset criteria. Then, it must be subject to a count entry.

In WarehousingGX, three types of count exist:

  • According to inventory lines: this count can be generated depending on geographic criteria. Depending on the stock count organization, it is possible to have several basic counts delimiting geographic areas.
  • According to count discrepancies, between the Warehousing stock an a count.
  • According to gaps between two counts.

There is no limit for the count number.

See the stock count overview.

Screen management

It is necessary to have a stock count with the 'in progress' status to use this screen. A count generated using discrepancies can only be requested if its related count via inventory lines is closed.
