Use this function to find existing customers or prospects by dynamically displaying the results. A list of matches is generated by tabbing to the next field or clicking the Search action.

  • Entering the first few characters of the customer or prospect number displays all matches for the selection criteria.
  • Entering additional criteria will reduce the list of matches.

The search is not case sensitive and displays all instances where the match is found.

This function provides access to sales orders, quotes, returns, customers, inquiries, and history information. New customers, orders, quotes, and returns can be created by clicking the actions for the function.

The following fields are present on this tab :

Block number 1

Enter the customer number or prospect number. Alternately, enter the first few characters to display all customer or prospect numbers that match the value entered in this field.

  • Name (field BPRNAM)

Enter the company name or enter the first few characters of the name to display all companies that match the value entered in this field.

  • Telephone (field TEL)

Enter the telephone number or enter the first few numbers of the telephone number to display all customers and prospects telephone number that match the value entered in this field.

  • Email (field WEB)

Enter the email address or enter the first few characters of the email address to display all email addresses that match the value entered in this field.

  • Address (field ADDLIG)

Enter one of the following to display all customers, prospects, contacts, and customers with this contact address that match the value entered in this field:

  • The full address
  • The first few characters of the address
  • The street number.
  • City (field CTY)

Enter the city or enter the first few characters of the city to display all customer and prospect cities that match the value entered in this field.

  • State/Region (field SAT)

Enter the state/region or enter the first few characters of the state/region to display all customer and prospect states/regions that match the value entered in this field.

  • Postal code (field POSCOD)

Enter the postal code or enter the first few characters of the postal code to display all postal codes that match the value entered in this field.

  • Contact name (field CNTNAM)

Enter the contact name. Alternately, enter the first few characters of the name to display all customers, prospects, contacts, or customers with this contact name that match the value entered in this field.

  • Contact telephone (field CNTTEL)

Enter the contact’s telephone number or enter the first few numbers to display all contact telephone numbers and customers with this contact telephone number that match the value entered in this field.

  • Contact mobile (field CNTMOB)

Enter the contact mobile phone number or enter the first few numbers of the mobile phone number to display all contact and customers with this contact mobile numbers that match the value entered in this field.

  • Contact email (field CNTWEB)

Enter the contact’s email address or enter the first few characters of the email address to display all contacts and customers with this contact email address that match the value entered in this field.

Click this action to view the list of quotes for the customer currently being viewed (with filtering criteria on the company, the site, the customer, the converted quotes, and non-converted).

From each line displayed, access each quote clicking the Jump to feature from the Actionicon.

Quotes / Inquiries / Lines

Click this action to inquire the quote lines for this customer.

Orders / Inquiries / Header

Click this action to view the list of orders for the customer being viewed (with filtering criteria on the company, the site, the customer, the order category, the shipped orders, and open orders).

From each line displayed, access each order clicking the Jump to feature from the Actionicon.

Orders / Inquiries / Lines

Click this action to inquire the order lines for this customer.

Deliveries / Inquiries / Header

Click this action to view the shipments for the customer currently being viewed (with filtering criteria on the company, the site, the customer, the shipment type, the confirmed shipments, and non-confirmed).

From each line displayed, access each shipment clicking the Jump to feature from the Actionicon.

Deliveries / Inquiries / Lines

Click this action to inquire the shipment lines for this customer.

Invoices / Inquiries / Header

Click this action to view the list of invoices for the customer currently being viewed (with filtering criteria on the company, the site, the customer, the validated invoices, and non-validated).

Click this action to view the list of customer returns currently being viewed (with filtering criteria on the company, the site, the customer, the validated returns, non-validated...).

From each line displayed, access each customer return clicking the Jump to feature from the Actionicon.

Returns / Inquiries / Lines

Click this action to inquire the return lines for this customer.

Base / Inquiries / Base by address

Click this action to view the entire installed customer base for a specific address.

This inquiry gives direct access to a customer base object, whilst benefiting from a selection list filtered with respect to the selected customer code and address.

Base / Inquiries / Aggregated base

Click this action to inquire the entire customer base according to specific criteria.
This inquiry gives access to a criteria selection screen such as the company code, site code, address code for the selected customer, and aggregation.

The aggregation criteria is used to specify the information on which the aggregation will be carried out. The product reference in the customer base is recovered as the default aggregation criteria.

Click the Searchbutton to launch the inquiry according to the retained criteria.

Accounting / Inquiries / BP situation

Click this function to give a global situation of the customer from the point of view of its due dates, the elements composing its financial and commercial credit levels, and the last operations carried out by this customer.

Accounting / Inquiries / Risk analysis

The BP situation function is designed to give a global situation of the customer from the point of view of its due dates, the elements composing its financial and commercial credit levels and the last operations carried out by this customer.
For the risks analyzed, the user is directly set on the information relative to the customer financial risk.

Accounting / Inquiries / Last operations

The BP situation function is designed to give a global situation of the customer from the point of view of its due dates, the elements composing its financial and commercial credit levels and the last operations carried out by this customer.
When inquiring the last operations, the user is directly set on the information relative to the customer financial risk.

Accounting / Inquiries / Aged balance

Click this action to access the aged balance for this customer at this date.

Plan / Actions / Appointment

It is possible to plan an appointment/meeting from a customer record. The information relative to the customer is automatically initialized if an appointment is created with this function.
The appointments displayed in the different selection lists from the selection panel are those related to the customer.

Plan / Actions / Tel. call

It is possible to plan a call from the customer record. It will be by default an out-going call. The information relative to the customer is automatically initialized if a call is created with this function.
The calls displayed in the different selection lists from the selection panel are those relative to the customer.

Plan / Actions / Task

It is possible to plan a task from a customer record. The information related to the customer is automatically initialized if a task is created with this function.
The tasks displayed in the different selection lists from the selction panel are those relative to the customer.

Create / Actions / Invoice

Click this action to directly access the invoices object.
The access via this function is designed to obtain in the selection panel only the invoices carried out and remaining to be carried out for the current customer.
If you click the Newaction, the invoice will be pre-loaded with the customer information. It is then considered that what is being carried out is an invoice.

Create / Actions / Appointment

Click this action to directly access the appointments object.
The access via this function is used to obtain in the selection panel only the appointments carried out and remaining to be carried out for the current customer.
If you click the Newaction, the appointment will be pre-loaded with the customer information. It is then considered that it is an appointment that is carried out.

Create / Actions / Tel. call

Click this action to directly access the call object.
The access via this function is used to obtain in selection panel list only the calls carried out and remaining to be carried out for the current customer.
If you click the Newbutton, the call will be pre-loaded with the customer information. It is then considered that it is an outgoing call that is carried out.

Create / Actions / Task

Click this action to directly access the tasks object.
The access via this function is used to obtain in the selection panel only the tasks carried out and remaining to be carried out for the current customer.
If you click the Newbutton, the task will be pre-loaded with the customer information. It is then considered that it is a task that is carried out.

Create / Actions / Project

Click this action to directly access the projects object.
The access via this function is designed to obtain in the selection panel the processed projects for the current customer.
You access the function directly in creation mode and the project will be pre-loaded with the customer information.

Create / Actions / Service request

It is possible to save a service request from a customer record.
The access via this function is designed to obtain in the selection panel only the service requests concerning the current customer.
If you click the Newaction, the service request will be pre-loaded with the customer information.

Create / Actions / Warranty request

It is possible to save a warranty request from a customer record.
The access via this function is designed to obtain in the selection panel only those warranty requests concerning the current customer.
If you click the Newaction, the warranty request will be pre-loaded with the customer information.

Create / Actions / Service contract

It is possible to save a service contract from a customer record.
The access via this function is designed to obtain in the selection panel only the service contracts concerning the current customer.
Ifyou click the Newaction, the service contract will be pre-loaded with the customer information.

Error messages

The only error messages are the generic ones.
