The weighing plan is a tool used to determine the orders to take into account in the weighing menu.

The weighing plan is possible only for work orders with the type "firm status".

Screen management

The presentation and the weighing plan functionalities depend on the selected transaction setup.            

If only one transaction has been set up, no choice is suggested; otherwise, a window opens presenting the list of transactions that the user is authorized to use.

Header information

The header information enables the selection of the orders to be processed.

  • Production site: the default value for this field is the production site associated with the user. Specifying a site is optional.
  • Selection range: specifying this range is optional.
  • Product range: this is used to choose a production range.
  • Order no. range: this is used to choose an order range.
  • End date ranges: these dates are used to define the horizon for the orders to be processed.

The information displayed for these orders depends on the Weighing plan transaction.

Filters

Production site This is initialized by default with the normal production site for the user.

Not used

Use this field to define the component product code.

 If this component currently exists in this BOM you must ensure the sequence number for this component is unique.

Start - end range

  • Order no. (field MFGNUMSTR)

Start range for the order number.

  • field MFGNUMEND

End range for the order number.

Start product range.

Product end range.

  • End date (field ENDDATSTR)

Enter the start date to filter for data within a date range.

  • field ENDDATEND

Enter the end date to filter for data within a date range.

Grid WO to process

  • Weigh flag (field COCHAGE)

Is used to include (or exclude if need be) a Work order in the weighing plan.

Product - Site

This button is used to access the product-site record.

Work Orders

This button is used to access the work order.

Available to Promise

This button is used to view the available to promise stock for the product.

Component Availability

A grid presents all the necessary materials and for each of them, the gap between the available to promise stock and the necessary stock.

Components available on time

A grid presents all the necessary materials and for each of them, the gap between the available to promise stock and the necessary stock, and this, at the requirement date for each component. In case of a negative gap, the system suggests the first availability date.

WO allocation

This button opens the allocation management window.

Specific Buttons

This button retrieves the orders to be displayed based on the selection criteria entered.

This button refines the selection by filtering the orders to be processed by the Order and / or by Project, to modify the sort criteria planned by default by the transaction, and to save a set of selection criteria by saving one or more Memo codes.

This button confirms all the entries performed on the lines displayed in the grid.

This function is used to view the setup of the transaction used.

Error messages

The only error messages are the generic ones.
