The Non-conformance 'Approver' role is an optional role. You only need to assign this user as an 'Approver' if your internal Non-conformance management process requires the 'approval' of all reviewers (Approvers) to progress incidents of non-conformance through the corrective or preventive cycle.

An Sage X3 user can only be deactivated as a Non-conformance Approver (NCSAPPROVE='No') if all non-conformance incidents to which they have been assigned are closed.
