This function is used to manage the prototype weeks which form a prototype planning.

A prototype week is characterized by the scheduling of activities for each day of the prototype week.

SEEWARNING A maximum of 4 activities can be defined per day. This can be explained by the current limitation of the graphic component for the yearly/monthly planning used to follow the provisional planning of a resource (refer to the HOR sizing activity code)

Tab Planning

Presentation

This tab is used to define the activity planning for each day of the prototype week.

For each day, the maximum number of time slots which can be declared is dependent on the number of time slots chosen for the graphic component of the individual planning (HOR sizing activity code). Also the descriptions of time slots is managed in local menu 811.

SEEWARNING Warehousing is supplied as standard with 4 time slots (HOR = 4, local menu no. 811 = "Morning", "Noon", "Afternoon" and "Evening").

Principle to enter time slots in a given day:

  • Enter the work day (Monday to Sunday)
  • Enter the time slot (using local menu 811) or leave it blank, which is equal to the day)
  • Enter the time range defining the time slot
  • Enter the activity on this time slot (optional)

Limit:

  • a maximum of 4 time slots per work day (HOR activity code)
  • a check is conducted to ensure that there are no time slots overlapping during a given work day.
  • It is only possible to define one type of time slot per work day. for example: impossible to enter 2 "morning" slots for the same work day).

SEEINFO if a single time slot needs to be defined for a given work day (e.g. the whole day), it is not necessary to enter the time slot that should then remain blank. On the other hand, using a blank slot prevents another slot from being added to the same work day.
