Common data > Directive missions > Resources & Materials

In the current site, this function is used to define the rules for the resource types to use the material types (IT and handling). These rules apply when declaring materials taken by a resource in the VT directive mission function.

The operating principle of this table is to scan each recording in the order of the sequence number until a recording is found that meets the criteria. It is consequently very important to enter the recordings from the more to the less specific.

Screen management

The function only contains a grid to complete.

Entry screen

Presentation

The algorithm scans the records in the sequence number order until a record is found that meets the criteria. An empty field means that all the values are accepted.

For example: let us consider the resource type RST1 having the rights to use the material type MT1 and MT2 only, and the resource type RST2 having all the rights. The following will be set up:

sequence no.

Resource type

Material type

10

RST1

MT1

20

RST1

MT2

30

RST2

by order of priority.

Code identifying the type of resource (defined by site).

A resource type identifies a set of resources likely on any given site to perform the same types of missions, access the same mission areas and use the same types of materials.

Code identifying the type of material (defined by site).

A material type identifies a set of materials likely on any given site to be used for the same types of missions, within the same mission areas (for handling materials) and to be used by the same types of resources.
