Common data > Directive missions > Mission areas & Materials

In the current site, this function is used to define the authorization rules for the "handling" material types for each mission area. These rules are used in the mission search algorithm to be carried out by the resource.

The operating principle of this table is to scan each recording in the order of the sequence number until a recording is found that meets the criteria. It is consequently very important to enter the recordings from the more to the less specific.

Screen management

The function only contains a grid to complete.

Entry screen

Presentation

The algorithm scans the records in the sequence number order until a record is found that meets the criteria. An empty field means that all the values are accepted.

For example: let us consider mission area MA1 authorizing material types MT1 and MT2 only, and the mission area MA2 authorizing all the material types. Let us also consider all the other mission types authorizing material type MT3 only. The following will be set up:

sequence no.

Mission area

Material type

10

MA1

MT1

20

MA1

MT2

30

MA2

40

MT3

Fields

The following fields are present on this tab :

Grid

  • Sequence (field ORN)

Number making it possible to use the rules defined in this screen

by order of priority.

Code identifying a mission area (defined by site).

A mission area is a part of a store.

For the main and allocation stores: the area is a group of aisles (travel sequences) (1 store = n areas).

For the other types of stores: the area is a full store (1 store = 1 area)

Specifies if the material type is "Handling".
