Common data > Materials > Materials

This function is used to manage the materials on the current site.

A material is characterized by:

  • its type specifying whether it is IT and/or Handling, and based on unit management or not.
  • the maximum load that it can carry for the "handling" materials.
  • its current use in real time (availability, information on the mission being completed)

Furthermore this function is used to make a material available or unavailable, and to display statistics.

SEEINFO this function belongs to the optional module GEOMIPS

Screen management

On the left side of the screen, this function lists the materials saved and the various setups related to them by sorting them according to the assigned reference.

Presentation

There are 4 separate fields:

HEADER

it contains the mateial code and its type.

2-PHASE TRANSFER

it specifies the temporary location (of 2-phase transfer type) that will be used when conducting a transfer mission.

MAXIMUM LOAD

the maximum load that can be borne by the material when conducting the mission is specified here.

SEEINFO the maximum load in CUs only takes into account those operations linked to the CU-managed products. On the other hand, the maximum load in weight and volume takes all the products into account (CU-managed and also SU-managed).

DIRECTIVE MISSIONS

The available information is used to:

  • know the availability or unavailability of the material with the reason in case of unavailability.
  • its current use in real time.
