Unit validation

Display of the transfer order number and date and time of the order generation.

If the transfer/replenishment has been generated for a wave, the wave number is displayed.

The transfer/replenishment type can take the following values:

• Normal
• Merging with accrual
• Merging without accrual
• Necessity replenishment
• Preventive replenishment
• Full container transfer
• Merging of flow transfer
• Merging of flow replenishment

Inquiry

Display of the transfer/replenishment movements of a transfer/replenishment order as a group so any movement showing the characteristics below are cumulated (at display level) in order to make their reading easier:

• Transfer no.
• Removal and repositioning store and address
• Reservation code, lot no., support no.; original code and FIFO date
• Quantity, Product container, homogeneous container
• Status

For instance:
let us consider 2 movements of 1PP1 of 100 CUUs for the same destination. They will be regrouped for display, i.e. a single line of 2PP1s of 100 CUUs, i.e. 200 CUUs.

Validation

In order to partially or completely validate a transfer/replenishment order, it is necessary to perform a selection in the table of records to be validated, to specify the action to implement on each record and to press the button. The transfer/replenishment movements are then validated accordingly.

Four types of actions are available:

• "Validation": the movement is validated once (take and deposit). The take and deposit locations as well as stock objects are updated.
• "Cancellation": the movement is canceled.
• "Take": the movement is validated on take. The take location is updated, the stock object is transfered to a temporary 2-phase transfer location (the resource location, and if no resource, the location available for a store supporting 2-phase transfers).
• "Deposit": the movement is validated on deposit. The temporary and deposit locations as well as stock objects are updated.

Note: the last type of action is "None". It is used for records that cannot be selected because the corresponding movements have already been validated.

Those recordings showing a quantity in a "grayed-out" font cannot be selected because the corresponding movements have already been validated.

Transfer movements of the "transfer entire container" type cannot be selected separately.
For a movement with transfer of the entire container, the selection (or selection cancellation) of a movement is extended to all movements sharing the same linked object
entry of a control code on the source/target location is extended to all movements sharing the same linked object
validation/cancellation cannot be partial

To modify the quantity of a recording, the CU number, Number and Homogeneous container fields can be modified but only on decrease.
The following controls are performed:

• For the picking locations, the entered quantity must be a minimum multiple of the reference container of the picking location
• The entered container must belong to the palletization plan of the product input container.
• The entered quantity must be a multiple of the homogeneous level of the container for the product to be transferred.
• No partial transfer authorized if the store set-up for the stock to be transferred requires complete object transfers.

In case of partial validation of a recording, the original movement is split, the entered quantity is updated on the validated movement (switching to status 8-Validated) and the balance movement remains on status 3-Addressed to be later validated or canceled.

Entry of a control code can be requested by the system. Entry is mandatory when the 'Control code' field of the table displays the '?' character ; for that purpose, the product, store and location tables as well as the input configuration for the current depositor must be set up accordingly. Validation will only be possible if the entered control code matches the expected control code and can be viewed in the location record.

Entry of an operatorcode can be requested by the system.
For replenishment movements, the configuration of the outputs for the current depositor must be set up accordingly.
For transfer movements, the setup of the current site must indicate an operator code entry.
Validation is only possible when the entered operator code is authorized to validate transfers and/or replenishments based on the processed flow.

Limits to 2-phase transfers:

• once the take action has been performed on a movement, the movement can no longer be canceled and the operator has to perform the deposit.
• the quantity of the deposit cannot be entered. It must be equal to the quantity of the take.

Note: Caution: if no location of the "2-phase transfer" type exists, then the "Take" action will not be displayed or available for selection on this tab.
