Refer to documentation Implementation
The DO is selected, followed by the parcels or SUs to be deferred.
The DO status must be higher than Status 4-Pending preparation and must be in prepacking or declarative packing mode.
Parcel deferment: a single parcel can be deferred if it is neither palletized, nor loaded, nor shipped, nor already deferred, nor "pending transfer".
SU deferment: from the moment a selected parcel has been palletized, it is the SU that is deferred. The deferment of a SU consists in deferring all the parcels of the SU (including if the SU is multi-DO). A SU can be deferred open or closed if it is neither loaded nor shipped, nor "pending transfer".
Warning: the deferment of a multi-DO SU can cause the deferment of the parcels forming said SU (and as a consequence of the DOs).
Presentation
For each parcel, such information as the SU no., the parcel no., its routing and its parcel type, its weight, its volume and its status.
If it is checked, the "Deferred" column specifies that the parcel line has been deferred or it enables the entry of the parcel to be deferred.
Step 1: Enter the parcels or no. of the SU to be deferred.
Step 2: validate the action using the "Save" button.
Processes: If the selected parcel is not palletized, the parcel is updated with a deferred flag; the parcel movements all switch to status 7- Deferred upon shipment.
To partly defer a parcel, it is necessary to repackthe DO so as to isolate the movements to be deferred in an independent parcel.
If the selected parcel is palletized, it is the SU that is deferred, along with all the parcels that constitute it. Parcels are updated, along with the movements. The SU also contains a deferred flag.
To partly defer a SU, it is necessary to create a SU that only contains the parcels to be deferred.
A print-out is automatically generated to indicate the deferred parcels and SUs.
The DO can then be shipped and the SUs and/or parcels taken into account in the shipment will be those that are not deferred.
Step 1: Select the parcel or SU lines to be reintegrated for the shipment.
Step 2: validate the action using the "Save" button.
Processes: The parcels and SUs are updated (deferred flag set to No) and the corresponding movements move from status 7-Deferred upon shipment to status 8-Validated (initial status).
A print-out is automatically generated to indicate the deferred DO lines and quantities.
