Shipping units
This screen is used to manage a Shipping Unit (SU) and includes the following functionalities:
-Creation of an SU
-Allocation to, and disallocation from parcels to the SU
-Deletion of an SU
-Closing and Opening of an SU
-Loading and unloading of an SU
-Deferment and reintegration of an SU.
The SU is defined in a setup table (SU types) and contains a status to view the progress.
The SU includes a flag taking into account any Deferment of the SU, and another flag taking into account any Loading of the SU.

Screen management
When entering the function, the SUs that are already composed and not shipped are displayed in the left list. To display the shipped SUs, choose Select and All.
The grid enumerates the parcels of each selected SU.

The displayed information concerns:
- the SU characteristics (Number, data, dimensions)
- Stock on quay (indicates the SU status and quay)
- Pre-palletization (indicates the palletization process used: pre-palletization in the case of a preparation mode of the same name, palletization in the case of a manual palletization, automatic palletization in the case of an automatic palletization on depositor request)
SU creation
Step 1. Choose File, then New
Step 2. enter an SU type
Step 3. enter a parcel no. in the parcel no. column. Each parcel no. forming the SU is entered and must be validated using button.
Process:To create an SU, at least one parcel must be assigned to it.
The assignment of a deferred parcel to an SU implies for said SU to be also deferred. Only deferred parcels can be associated to it.
By default, the SU type is updated by the setup specified in the output configuration. It is possible to enter another SU type which is then controlled by means of the SU type table.
SU deletion
Step 1. Select the SU to be deleted
Step 2. Press button.
Process:A closed SU cannot be deleted.
A deferred SU can be deleted, the deferred information is kept for the parcels that make it up.
SU modification
It is possible to add parcels to an already existing SU:
Step 1. To do so, enter the parcel numbers
Step 2. Validate with button.
It is possible to delete parcels from an SU:
Step 1. The user should position themselves on the parcel to be disallocted and "right-click" the mouse, then delete the line, and delete the parcel line.
Step 2. The action will be validated using button.
An SU can be modified if it is open. If it is deferred, the new allocated parcel will also have to be deferred.
Deferment/Reintegration
An SU can be deferred irrespective of its status, but it cannot be deferred if it has been loaded.
Deferring an SU means deferring all the parcels of said SU.
A deferred SU will only accept deferred parcels.
Reintegration is the reverse function of the Deferment.
For security reasons, it is recommended to use the Deferment/Parcels function that deals with deferment by DO.
Upon each deferment or reintegration, a print is launched to specify the deferred or reintegrated elements.
Opening/Closing an SU
Once all the parcels have been entered, it is necessary to close the SU by means of the Function menu.
Closing the SU closes the SU constitution operations. The SU can no longer be modified and an SU label is printed.
The reverse operation to the SU closing function is also available via the Function menu. This function is used in case of palletization error.
The SU opening and closing functions change the status of the SUs, the parcels and the DOs that form said SU.
Loading/Unloading an SU
Depending on the DO shipment configuration, the closed SU can be loaded via the Function menu. Physically, this phase, carried out from a RF terminal, confirms the loading of the SU into the expected truck. This represents the last phase before the shipment is confirmed.
Conversely, in case of error, the SU can be unloaded from the truck, via the Function menu.
A deferred SU cannot be loaded.
The SU loading and unloading functions change the status of the SUs, the parcels and the DOs that form said SU.

Error messages
In addition to the generic error messages, the following messages can appear during the entry :
Parcel with status: X- Status description
The parcel status does not enable palletization..
SU reserved for the ship-to customer: XXX and parcel no. XXX different.
The entered parcel has a ship-to customer different from the one of the SU for which it has been entered, and the SU must have a single ship-to customer.
Parcel already exists.
The parcel has been entered twice.
Different configuration option.
The DOs of the parcels to be palletized do not have the same shipment configuration.
Parcel not deferred on deferred SU.
The entered parcel is not deferred and cannot be entered on a deferred SU.
Partial delivery prohibited.
The DO header setup does not allow the DO to be shipped in a split fashion.
Multi DO SU.
Information that indicates that the SU to be deferred is multi DO. In case of confirmation, all the parcels of the DOs of the SU are deferred.
SU already loaded or shipped.
It is not possible to defer an SU already loaded or shipped.
Parcel already loaded or shipped.
It is not possible to defer a parcel already loaded or shipped.
