Outputs > SU > Repalletization

This function is used to repalletize SUs among themselves.

The following actions can be performed:

  • Group SUs in a new SU.
  • Split the parcels of a SU to a new SU or an already existing SU.
  • Modify the characteristics of a SU.

It is only possible to group/split SUs that are neither closed, nor loaded, nor shipped, nor reported. This function still submits the closed SUs because it thus makes it possible to open them on the occasion of a grouping or splitting request.

Note: All the actions cannot always be performed. They are dependent on the origin of the SUs (prepalletized, auto palletized or palletized), their statuses and their characteristics. This documentation presents below two grids summarizing the possible achievements for each action.

Screen management

The screen is made up of:

  • a header to filter the SUs to be displayed based on the selection criteria.
  • a tab "Repalletization" that lists the SUs and their associated parcels.

Header

Presentation

This header is used to enter selection criteria concerning SUs

  • their origin: Prepalletization (SU created on picking in prepalletization mode), Auto palletization (SU created for an automatic palletization order) or Palletization (SU created manually via standard palletization).
  • their status
  • the PO (Picking Order) no.
  • the OPA no. (Automatic Palletization Order)
  • the wave no.
  • the round no.
  • the SU no.

Tab Repalletization

Presentation

This tab displays the SUs meeting the selection criteria in the header. It is made up of 2 blocks:

  • Block 1 (SU) lists the SUs that are neither loaded, nor shipped, nor reported, and that are open and closed.
  • Block 2 (Parcel) enumerates all the parcels for the SU selected in the 1st block.

Action "Group"

It is only possible to group SUs that are neither closed, nor loaded, nor shipped, nor reported.

The grid below lists the authorized groupings based on the origin and status of the SUs to group:

Action "Split"

It is only possible to split SUs that are neither closed, nor loaded, nor shipped, nor reported.

Splitting means that the parcels of a SU are split to a new SU or an already existing SU.

In the case of an already existing SU, the grid below lists the authorized splits based on the origin and status of the SUs (initial or destination) and parcels to split:

Reports

By default, the following reports are associated with this function :

ETIQUMCOLIS : SU & Parcel labels

This can be changed using a different setup.

Specific Buttons

Stage 1: Select the SU to be modified and press the button .

Stage 2: If the SU is closed, a opening validation request is issued by the operator for them to proceed with the modification operation.

Stage 3: An entry screen of the SU information is then displayed. After entering the SU information, the system asks the user if they want to reprint an SU label.

Stage 1: In the Rgp column, select the SU no. to be regrouped and press the button .

Stage 2: If some SUs are closed, a opening validation request is requested from the operator for them to proceed with the grouping operation.

Stage 3: The parcels of these SUs are then regrouped in a new SU. For this new SU, the system asks the operator to enter the SU type as well as the information about the dimensions and actual weight.

The status of the new SU will be the status of the least advanced SU, and the dimensions and weight will be updated.

Stage 4: A new SU label is automatically printed for the newly created SU if the output configuration of the current depositor specifies it.

Stage 1: Select the SU to be split in the SU block, then select the parcels in the Parcel block.

It is possible to transfer all the parcels to another SU or to partly split a parcel into another SU.

Stage 2: Once the elements have been selected, press the button .

Stage 3: If some SUs are closed, a opening validation request is requested from the operator for them to proceed with the splitting operation.

Step 4: An entry screen of the SU information is then displayed. It is possible to perform a transfer to an already existing SU by entering the SU number, or by performing the transfer to a new SU.

If the DO header is associated with a specific type of SU, and the new type entered is different, a non-blocking message warns the user.

In both cases, an SU label is printed if the output configuration of the current depositor specifies it.

This option is used to start a search on the SUs based on the selection criteria previously entered.

Error messages

In addition to the generic error messages, the following messages can appear during the entry :

Error "Rgp" field: SU No X (...) Impossible to group with SU No Y (....)

It is impossible to group these SUs because of differing characteristics specified between brackets in the error message. These characteristics are: Single consignee SU or not, Status of the SU, Origin of the SUs.

Error "SU no. field": Parcel no. X (...) Impossible to group with Parcel no. Y (....)

It is impossible to split the parcel to this SU because of differing characteristics specified between brackets in the error message. These characteristics are: Single consignee SU or not, Status of the parcel and SU, Origin of the parcels/SUs.
