Outputs > SU > Auto palletisation > Auto palletisation

This screen is used to automatically palletize a group of parcels using the same prepalletization algorithm used upon wave launch.

This functionality can be used when the palletization is not required during the preparation (prepalletization mode). The first step is thus to constitute the parcels (by prepacking or packing by package). Once the parcels are ready (pending palletization), the second step consists in requesting the automatic palletization of these parcels. The system creates a Palletization order (PAO) specifying the makeup of the SUs to create.

This operation is only possible on parcels that have the status "6-Pending palletization" and are not palletized or deferred. Furthermore, in the case of on-dock parcel management (output configuration) these parcels must have either the dock status "On dock" or the dock status "Pending transfer" with the flag Stock on dock to "No".

Screen management

The screen is made up of:

  • A header specifying the dock type address where the palletization operation will be carried out.
  • a table recapitulating the parcels that can be chosen.

Entry screen

Presentation

The principle is as follows:

Step 1: Entry of the dock address where the physical palletization operation will be carried out. The system will then display in the table the list of parcels that can be chosen. If the on-dock parcel management is available, the system will suggest parcels from the dock address previously entered.

Step 2: the operator selects the parcels to process from the table.

Step 3: the operator saves their selection. The system will then use the prepalletization algorithme to generate the SUs. As a result a palletization order (PAO) with the status "1-Not validated" will be created, with SUs having the status "4-Not validated". The parcels will take the status "5-AutoPalletized"

Notes:

  • it is possible to launch the auto palletization in simulation mode.
  • The picking area indicated on the screen corresponds to the one associated with the dock type store entered during step 1.
  • The SU labels are printed with thermal printer no. 2 of the picking area.

Grid Parcel

  • Select (field SEL)

No help linked to this field.

  • SSCC code (field SSCCOD)

Code of the parcel range. The range forms the main access key to the definition of the parcels themselves. It is used, for specific product groups or in the case of specific flows (export, etc.) to indicate the preferred packing type that will be selected.

Code of the parcel type. The type is used to define, for a specific parcel range, 1 to n parcel dimensions.
